The iSafe Cyber Bullying Assembly Experience

The free iSAFE Cyber Bullying Assembly Experience program is designed to educate students about the consequences and effects of bullying by use of the Internet or digital technology. Using a tragic true-life story and powerful videos, the assembly energizes students and impresses upon them how their actions in the cyber world can have serious real world consequences.
The experience is designed to motivate students to take action and to implement the positive message learned.

Participants of the Assembly Experience will be able to:

  • Identify the key general attributes of kindness that need to be exerted on the internet.
  • Identify the key general attributes of being considerate online.
  • Identify and comprehend the critical attributes of online safety.
  • Comprehend how netiquette relates to cyber citizenship and show by example.
  • Articulate and communicate their knowledge and understanding of kindness and how it relates to Internet behavior.
  • Understand how to utilize appropriate resources if confronted with a dangerous online situation.
